Thanks for the link and video, but also, an English language nitpick. Hyperbole? Hyperbole means something said is exaggerated, and not to be taken seriously. However, Hedges seems as though he wants for most of what he says to be taken literally. Break out your dictionary, and choose the proper word for whatever it was you were trying to say.

I stand by my choice of words, while Hedges may wish to have his exaggerations taken seriously at times that is impossible
