The Day Michael Eligon Died

Michael Eligon wearing only a hospital gown, socks and a toque wandered out of Toronto East General Hospital  at around 9am on February 3rd an hour later he laid in the street, dead from a gun shot wound fired from a police weapon.

Doug Pritchard a local resident and witness to the events that day gives an eloquent accounting of Michael's final moments and certainly counters the story we were told at the time, that of a violent mentally ill man on a rampage.
