Canada Day celebrations in London and NYC have been cancelled after the private sector firm the Conservatives farmed out responsibility for such events to failed to find new sponsors after Blackberry and Nexen ( yes that Nexen) pulled out.

What a perfect allegory for all that symbolizes the Harper Government. Anything that remotely smacks of society must go.
