NYT/CBS Poll Shows Support For Workers Rights

A New York Times/CBS poll is the second one to show that a clear majority of Americans support collective bargaining rights,in fact it's results exactly mirror those of the earlier USA Today/Gallup poll

USA Today/Gallup Q: As you may know,one way the legislature in Wisconsin is seeking to reduce it's budget deficit is by passing a bill that would take away some of the collective bargaining rights of most public unions,including the state teachers' union.
Would you favor or oppose such a bill in your state?

It is truly amazing,given all the right wing propaganda and the corporate media's biased reporting, for a majority of Americans to cut through the fog and find the truth. The truth about this orchestrated campaign on the part of the elite, such as the Koch brothers and their evil henchmen, to depress wages and benefits for workers, in order to enrich themselves and consolidate power.

Finally there is reason to hope, Now if only my fellow Canadians can wake from their slumber and cast off  their conceit that we are somehow immune from the machinations of the dark forces ruling the world at the moment,then perhaps we can begin to repair the damage and live up to our responsibility to our children to leave them a better world to live in.
