Lack of Debate breeds Mistakes

Through the years I have participated in many collective bargaining talks and experience has shown me that the biggest cock ups happen when both sides agree on an issue leading to a lack of vigorous debate. A full and honest debate tends to discover those mistakes before they happen. This is what makes our current governments aversion to debate so dangerous. The lack of vigorous and open debate guaranties only one thing, BAD LAWS Oh yeah, there's also that democracy thing.
