Stepping outside the system
While Chris Hedges can succumb to hyperbole at times he is one of the few with the courage to speak the unvarnished truth.
Thanks for the link and video, but also, an English language nitpick. Hyperbole? Hyperbole means something said is exaggerated, and not to be taken seriously. However, Hedges seems as though he wants for most of what he says to be taken literally. Break out your dictionary, and choose the proper word for whatever it was you were trying to say.
Hedges is a man I have tremendous respect for, Kev. Thanks for posting this.

I stand by my choice of words, while Hedges may wish to have his exaggerations taken seriously at times that is impossible
