Canada has more firms on the world Bank's debarment (blacklist) list than any other nation. While nearly all of them are SNC Lavalin affiliates this is still disgustingly embarrassing. What's worse is that despite this, governments across the land continue to award business to SNC.
Overall, Canada had 119 total companies on the list (including two permanently debarred since 1999). United States had the second largest number, with 44 companies on the debarment list (among which are several SNC-Lavalin companies), and Indonesia came in third with 43.
