A threat to Trudeau is a threat to all of us

I can't think of a better way to put it.

As those who follow me on Twitter are well aware, I am no fan of Justin Trudeau but we cannot tolerate threats of violence to our political leaders and their families under any circumstance.

A threat of this nature is not only a threat against individuals but to society as a whole. It is a threat against our ability to hold the government to account

It is a threat to our ability to have an open and frank debate ( as much as that is available to us these days) on the issues confronting us.

 It is a threat that we dismiss at our own peril.
